BARRING a turnaround of mythical proportions Leeds United will sign off their Championship season as the guests to another club’s celebration.

Leeds tomorrow go to the Loftus Road home of champions Queens Park Rangers led by former Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock.

Simon Grayson’s men can mathematically make the play-offs but only if they beat Rangers and Nottingham Forest lose to Crystal Palace – and there’s a six-goal swing in goal advantage for Leeds.

Assistant manager Glyn Snodin is keeping the faith, adding: “The season finishes tomorrow, not last weekend. Anything can happen and you have to believe that.”

Meanwhile, Leeds and Burnley have been charged by the FA with failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.

The charge relates to the fiery game between the two sides at Elland Road on April 30, which Leeds won 1-0.

Chris McCann’s high tackle on Max Gradel sparked a melée in the 57th minute, for which Clarets midfielder was shown one of eight yellow cards in the game.

Both clubs had until 4pm today to respond.
