MISSED chances cost City of York ladies I as they went down 2-1 at Timperly I in the North Hockey League premier division.
The visitors made a slow start and Frankie Marsh was forced to make an incredible save on the line with her stick after some quick movement from the Timperly team left a gap behind the York goalkeeper.
However, a Timperly player came free at the top of the circle and sent the ball rocketing into the roof of the net.
