TEN Thirsk & Sowerby Harriers runners were among the 97 finishers at the eight-mile Commondale Beacon Fell Race.
The event was race four in the Winter Series and the penultimate race in the Club Championship series, with Stephan Tomaszewski again in fine form to finish 19th, and first in the M50 section, in 59 minutes 45 seconds.
Cameron Choules was 23rd in 60-31, Bryan Miller 50th in 68-31, Martyn Coy 52nd in 69-15, Graham Robinson 57th in 72-07, Hywel Smith 64th in 73-17, Marc Davies 65th in 73-19 and Hilary Coventry 66th, and first F50, in 73-53.
Carol Morrison came 80th, and second F50, in 79-25 and Duncan Fothergill, in his first fell race, was 83rd in 80-03.
Gary Dunn led the Harriers contingent at the Leeds Abbey Dash 10k in a time of 33-07, followed by Dan Holdsworth in 35-08, Steve Middleton in 37-56, Rob Lickley in 42-41, Alan Harman in 47-04, Brian Smith in 48-19, Stuart Waters in 49-00, Rebecca Burgess in 50-18, Allan Pollock in 52-01, Malcolm Aitken in 54-07, Ian Codling in 65-05, Marian Codling in 73-08 and Liz Stephenson in 86-31.
At the Fountains Abbey Park Run 5k, Steven Scott finished 26th out of 167 runners in 22-39, Martin Cummins was 32nd in 23-57 and Jane Cummins clocked 29-13.
The popular 2015 Thirsk 10 Road Race will take place on March 22, incorporating the Yorkshire Veterans 10 Mile Championships.
