WENDY STORR starred for York John Smith’s Ladies Darts League division one newcomers Severus 'B' against Marcia 'B'.
Joan Hunter, Faye Hawksby and Sharon Rishworth gave Marcia a commanding lead, but Ann Meek, Storr (2 x 100) and Dot Sellars levelled.
The visitors edged in front through Angie Kaya and Sharon Mountain, then Storr (140, 100) and Michelle Kelly sealed victory. Meek and Sue Gillon added to the club side's tally.
Burnholme raced into a 3-0 lead, Lynne Willstrop, Marj Pearson, Jane Dobson doing the damage, before Tracey Farmeary, Gina Whittaker troubled the scorers for Tramways 'B'.
Sarah Jackson restored the advantage then Willstrop and Claire Murphy sealed victory for Burnholme in their new club. Tramways won the remaining games.
Division one front-runners Fulfordgate were 1-0 down at Castle Howard Ox 'B', whose Flossy Crampton won the opener. However, Dawn Exton, Anne Bass, and Cara Britton, in her first game, responded.
Denise Fowler narrowed the gap, but Gate were gifted the next point as Ox were under strength. Then Jill Reed and Britton sealed victory, and mother and daughter Muriel and Michelle Britton added to Gate's tally.
Severus 'A' were tied 4-4 with visitors Marcia 'A', whose Stacy Morris and Carol Perrett had set up the decider. The club side made home advantage count as Sue Clark and Mavis Gallimore snatched victory.
In division two, joint leaders Jubilee 'B' recovered after Jackie Gray and Charlotte Witts put visitors Leeman 2-0 up.
Chris Peebles, captain Maggie Bedingham, Catherine Johns, and Tracey Scurr replied.
Janet Nelson and Margaret Schofield narrowed the gap before Jub’s Peebles and Anne Allinson, then Eileen Haw and Scurr, won the remaining legs for a 6-3 result.
Vicky Sellers and Doreen Johnstone edged Shoulder in front at Clifton, whose captain Cris Turgoose and Dorothy Barker replied.
Hannah Smith and Elaine Metcalfe restored the visitors' lead, then Smith and Sellars combined to seal match points.
Rose Gray combined with Acomb colleague Kate Rankeillor to clinch victory over visitors Saddle.
Burton could not raise a team, gifting the points to Green Tree.
