A SPECIAL Olympics-themed open day will be held at York St John University on Saturday when there will be a chance to join current Special Olympics athletes to try tennis, boccia, carpet bowls, athletics, kurling and table tennis from 10am to 3.30pm.
The guest of honour will be Craig McCann, a Great Britain Paralympian who will be showcasing fencing.
