THIRSK and Sowerby Harriers final club championship race of the year was held at Croft, where under-13 member Daniel Hill did well to finish 13th in ten minutes and 58 seconds over the two-kilometre course.

U15 representative Joshua Fothergil was ninth in 16.55 in the four-kilometre run.

The first club finisher in the ladies' 6k event was Faith Coy - 59th in 35.13 - followed by Christine Burn, pictured, 68th in 39.01, Bav Davies 73rd in 42.59 and Marian Codling 75th in 50.53.

The men's race was 8k and was led home by Cameron Choules, who was 33rd in 31.51 and headed club-mates Stephan Tomaszewski 46th in 32.30, Marc Davies 97th in 37.55 and Duncan Fothergill 119th in 41.53.
