DRESSAGE rider Roxanne Shipley has been picked as part of a four-man team representing Great Britain at an international three-day event in Compeigne, France, starting tomorrow.
The Sheriff Hutton-based 15-year-old made her Great Britain debut at Addington Manor, Buckinghamshire, in April and has since had European experience at a competition in Moorsele, Belgium.
Shipley has been juggling her busy competition and travel schedule with GCSE exam commitments at Easingwold School.
Since finishing her Year 10 GCSEs, she has been training for Compeigne at the Surrey yard of her uncle, Mark Ruddock.
