A MASSIVE upgrade of sporting facilities for young people in Strensall could be approved on Tuesday.
Strensall and Towthorpe Sports Association is hoping City of York Council agrees to a request for £25,000 towards an upgrade of the sporting facilities in Durlston Drive.
Local Lib Dem Councillor, Madeleine Kirk, said: “If this funding request is agreed it will be great news for facilities for young people in Strensall. The current facilities are in need of renovation and this funding will allow for real improvements and will mean the Sports Association is able to offer a wide range of activities to local people.”
