THRILL-SEEKERS are preparing to descend on the North York Moors for a five-hour adventure race next month.
Entrants will get the chance to explore the area by bike and on foot on Sunday, December 5, in a race forming part of the Mountain Hardwear Open 5 Winter Series.
It is open to individuals and pairs over the age of 18, from first timers to elite athletes. Within five hours competitors must visit as many points on a map as they can.
The starting point for the race will be the visitor centre at the top of Sutton Bank, near Thirsk.
Anyone interested in entering should visit the Open Adventure website www.openadventure.com
