EASINGWOLD HellCats clinched the Yorkshire and Humberside Rock-It-Ball title after a dramatic last round of matches.
Reigning champions Easingwold Raptors were usurped at the top of the table following the upset of the season when the league’s newest club Ripon recorded a 119-101 victory.
HellCats, expertly organised by captain Sara Cooper, capitalised fully by beating York Pumas having earlier disposed of Easingwold Falcons in a record-breaking 344-90 triumph that saw them average a point every 2.7 seconds.
Other matches saw York Cougars overcome Easingwold HellFighters 138-84 and Ripon defeat Easingwold Typhoons 111-79 to secure runners-up spot and relegate Raptors to third.
Cougars also beat Pumas and HellFighters made sure of fourth place by emerging victorious against Falcons.
