TEAM Jorvik swimmers clocked a host of personal best times at the Yorkshire Long Course Championships at the John Charles Centre in Leeds.

The competition was held over two weekends in February and a squad of five Team Jorvik swimmers competed over the four days.

Max Nozedar, 16, achieved personal best times in the 100 metres freestyle, butterfly and backstroke.

Alistair Cooper, 14, swam nine-second PBs in the 200m and 400m individual medley events, and he also bagged a PB in the 400m freestyle.

Zak Moorcroft, 12, claimed personal best times in all three of his events – the 100m and 200m backstroke, and 200m individual medley.

Eleanor Cooper, 12, was rewarded for a superb swim in the 400m freestyle with an amazing 11-second PB.

Ten-year-old Emily Hill competed in the 200m breaststroke and produced a fine personal best.

The squad are now training hard for next month’s Yorkshire sprint events.
