Christiana Pain
Malton School’s Christiana Pain won a gold medal in the Under-17 Girls National Relay Road Race in Birmingham.
Pain was running for York Acorn Running Club and faced tough competition from older runners as she ran the second leg of the relay.
However, she managed to maintain an excellent pace and placed her team into a strong position to lead the race and eventually become overall winners.
