HOSTS Joseph Rowntree emerged victorious from the York and Selby Under-13s netball tournament after winning all seven of their games.

Jo Ro chalked up group triumphs over Bootham (4-1), Huntington (7-1), Archbishop Holgate’s (6-0), Tadcaster (6-0) and The Mount (12-0) in the 12-team tournament.

A 7-3 last-four triumph against Millthorpe then set up a repeat of last year’s final with St Olave’s.

Jo Ro saw their half-time lead of 3-1 narrowed but held on to win 4-3.

The ‘B’ Team competition was contested by 13 teams with St Olave’s going one better to lift the trophy with All Saints runners up.
