Selby schools to try out SmashUp badminton
SCHOOLS in Selby are to try out a new format of badminton, designed to make the game more accessible to a younger audience.
SmashUp badminton is based on the popular racquet sport, but with specially branded equipment, background music and a selection of different activities, it places the emphasis on fun.
The initiative is being spearheaded by leisure service provider WLCT, alongside Badminton England and Selby District Council.
