DRINGHOUSES beat York FA Under-19s Football League rivals Tockwith - but lost top spot to free-scoring Haxby Town.
Haxby are top of the table on goal difference after an 11-0 home win over Stillington, while fellow leaders Houses edged past third-placed Tockwith 3-2.
Karl Pearson, Joe Sutton and Dom Colley all scored twice for Haxby, with the scoring completed by Dave Fell, Liam Brighton, Dan Clipston, Tom Davies and county captain Matty Day.
Reigning champions Dringhouses came from behind to beat Tockwith.
Cameron Mulhearn, Liam Robertson and Kris Douglas were the Houses marksmen, while Will Harrison got both Tockwith goals.
Acomb Athletic lost 6-2 at home to Wigginton Grasshoppers.
Jacob Greeny and Alex Day netted for the home side, but they were eclipsed by Wiggy’s James Sutton (2), Sam Hardy Mayo (2), Brad Winters and Sam Jeffrey.
Thorpe United won 5-3 at Fulford.
Tom Ames, Conor Wade and Jack Davies found the net for the hosts, but Andy Wilson, Tom Roley, Steven Frost, Elliot Precious and Mike Cussans secured the win for Thorpe.
York Cubs were 4-2 victors at home to Wilberfoss.
Ed Chapman bagged a hat-trick and Reece Chapman also scored for the Cubs, with Tom Taylor and the prolific Sam McAllister netting for Wilberfoss.
York RI and Rawcliffe fought out a 3-3 draw.
Mick Long, Jack Willis and Dan Hickey’s goals for RI were cancelled out by Reuben Young and debutant Jonah Tomlinson Kent (2).
