YORK youngster Charlie Oxtoby has joined the black belt ranks at Shinko Karate Club.
The 11-year-old, who started training with the club in 2011, passed his 1st Dan at a grading in Shobnall, Burton. The club train at St James the Deacon church hall in Woodthorpe on Mondays and Fridays.
