TEENAGE Yorkshire star Matt Fisher dropped in as a guest coach at Love-cricket's York coaching session.
The England Under-19s bowler, who started out at Sheriff Hutton Bridge, attended the beginners and under-9s academy at Love-cricket’s York College Sunday get-together.
George Brown, Love-cricket academy director, said: "Matty is a source of inspiration for all our budding young cricketers to show what can be achieved with hard work, dedication and great natural talent.
"It gave our children a massive boost to see Matty coaching them and offering his advice, and it would be great to see some of them follow in his footsteps.”
Love-cricket runs courses for boys and girls aged six to 13, delivered by coaches qualified to England Cricket Board Level 2 in a fun, friendly and interactive environment.
Bookings are now being taken for the new post-Christmas ten-week sessions at York College and Manor School.
The beginners and U9s academy is held at York College on Sundays from 4pm to 5pm from January 11, while the U13s academy will be at Manor School on Mondays from 6pm to 7pm from January 12.
