EASINGWOLD School’s equestrian team are a top ten hit.
Pupils finished ninth out of 28 teams at the National School Equestrian Association finals at Addington Manor in Oxfordshire.
The 75-centimetre showjumping team of Jessica Barker, Olivia Snarr, Holly Clayden and Amelia du Boulay was first to compete, followed by the 95cm team of Ella Eadon, Serena Leighton, Toria Brown and Amelia Brown.
Both teams finished just out of the placings, but did a superb job overall.
Then the 75m jumping with style team of Megan Stephenson, Jessica Barker, Snarr and du Boulay all performed well, but were unplaced.
Finally, the 85cm Jumping with Style team, including Amelia Barker, Snarr, du Boulay and Stephenson, coped admirably with a challenging course and ended up coming ninth out of 28 teams.
The youngsters were sporting new rugs sponsored by CH Meats of Sutton-on-the-Forest.
