Bolton Percy won the toss and elected to bat first in their home Under-15 President’s Cup first round tie against Yapham.
Joseph Dobson hit 52 not out and, supported by skipper Jack Liddle (16) and Oliver Petit (13), they made a creditable 104-6 in a game reduced to 15 overs a side.
Despite being given a helping hand by the extras conceded by the Bolton Percy bowlers and fielders, Yapham struggled to get going and closed on 61-2. Jack Pektus finished with figures of 1-3 and James Tucker 1-8.
