WHAT a swish miss! Teenager Violet Miller has rocketed into a national junior skiing squad.
The 15-year-old pupil at Queen Margaret’s School, in Escrick, is on top of the world after she was selected for the Great Britain junior team.
In advancing to the junior GB Alpine team, she is one of only three girls in the UK, all older than her, to make that grade.
The national call-up is fitting reward after the teen princess of the slopes won her age group girls’ title in a British meeting in France, where she won two of three available disciplines.
Now Violet is looking to make even more progress.
