The Leeds & District Swimming Championship shield belongs to Tadcaster Grammar School once again, making it a hat-trick of wins for the 35-strong squad.
The final gala was an exciting affair and Tadcaster proved again that they are a force to be reckoned with, hanging on to the prize they won in 2008 and 2009.
“Tadcaster Grammar School was invited to compete in the Leeds Swimming Gala for the first time in 2004,” said PE teacher Judy Marriott.
“For the following three years the squad finished in a creditable second place with ultimate success coming in 2008 and 2009.
“This year’s squad, which was selected from Years 7 to 12, was totally focused and displayed tremendous individual and team effort in achieving their well-earned hat-trick of success.”
