A TRIO of potential sports stars of the future are the latest beneficiaries of York’s Fund For The Gifted.
Rugby league player Jack Anderson, 15, footballer Harry Lynn, 13, and 16-year-old athlete Sam Blain have all received grants of £150 towards travel and equipment.
The Fund For The Gifted, which falls under the Active York umbrella, aims to “assist young talented athletes to achieve their full potential in sport through the provision of financial support”.
