MILLTHORPE School racked up the medals at the City Athletics Championships at Huntington Stadium.
They took home four gold medals and three silvers, and the school also scored top-four places in 15 events.
Charlie Sarginson, Year 8, won the 1,500 metres; Year 9 athlete Natasha Walker won the long jump; Beth Spaven, Year 7, won the 800m and the 200m was claimed by Year 8’s Chelsea Wyard.
Silver medals were claimed by Year 8’s Kate Chapman, who was second in the high jump; Luke Clayton, Year 8, runner-up in the 200m and Rachel Ackroyd, runner-up in the Year 10 200m.
