DOMINANT Millthorpe School netballers have retained the York and Selby Under-15s title.
The York school won all their games, scoring 49 goals and conceding 15.
They opened up with a 14-1 win over Tadcaster Grammar. Next up were Archbishop Holgate’s and Millthorpe won 14-2, before a 9-3 triumph over Huntington. Millthorpe then beat Manor 9-4.
Millthorpe went into their final game against Joseph Rowntree needing a win to clinch the title and they triumphed 12-5.
Meanwhile, 16-year-old Millthorpe pupil Jack Anderson has been starring at loose-forward for the England U16s rugby league side. The former York Acorn ARLC ace, who now plays for Shaw Cross in Dewsbury, helped England to a 54-14 victory over France in the wake of an earlier win over Wales.
