Seven records were smashed at Terrington Hall School’s annual athletics sports day competition.
The record breakers were led by Year 8 pupil Filimoni Savou who made school history in the open 100 metres by clocking a new best time of 11.65 seconds as well as sending the shot an unprecedented 12.14 metres.
Further records were broken by Year 8 pupil Millie Grant in the U13 shot (7.70m), Year 5 pupil Lily Browne in the U11 javelin (13.58m), Year 5 pupil Gabriel McGill in the U11 high jump (1.36m), Year 4 pupil Coco Charters in the U9 high jump (1.04m) and Year 5 pupil Amy Foster in the U9 shot (8.80m).
The day concluded with the traditional canon relay in which all members of the school took part.
