TADCASTER Swim Squad team-mates Fergus Whittaker and Harry Souter clocked personal best times at the North Eastern Age Group Swimming Championships.
Whittaker, of Bishopthorpe, and Souter, of Barwick-in-Elmet, both aged ten, took on some of the best swimmers in the North East of England after reaching the qualifying standard earlier in the season.
Whittaker was 17th in the 100 metre breaststroke after clocking a time of one minute 53.14 seconds in the first gala at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.
In the second gala at Leeds Aquatic Centre, Whittaker produced a PB of one minute 30.10 seconds to come 19th in the 100m freestyle, while Souter was 18th in the same event in one minute 21.45.
