YORK Acorn ARLC 'A' stormed into the Yorkshire Men's League Forty20 Cup final with an emphatic 48-10 victory over Oulton Raiders 'A'.
The Blue and Golds led 26-6 at the break at Thanet Road after tries from Josh Thompson (2), Harry Bromwich, Haiden Barber and Danny Caldwell.
One conversion from Tony Shepherd and two from Steve Waldron added to the home side's tally, while the visitors' points came from an Adam Coopman try and Danny Elston conversion.
Acorn continued their good work in the second period with further tries from Tom Hill, Reece Rushworth, Paul Cross and Shepherd, with Waldron slotting three more conversions.
The visiting side's only consolation was a try by Luke Richardson.
In an excellent team display, Shepherd took the man of the match award, but he was well supported by Reece Arthur, Martin McTigue, Mark Sanderson and Rushworth.
Acorn will face Kippax Knights in the final at Heworth on Friday, May 16.
New Earswick All Blacks suffered their seventh Pennine League Championship defeat of the season as they lost 44-4 to Chequerfield Rangers.
Chequerfield dominated the first half, using their sloping pitch and their sizeable pack to their advantage, to lead 32-0 at half-time.
The All Blacks were much improved in the second half, restricting Chequerfield to two tries and they got on the scoreboard with a well-worked move finished by centre Adam Kirby.
The New Earswick man of the match was centre Alex Wilkins, backed up by fellow Kirby and hooker Jack Carling.
All Blacks, who will resume training at White Rose Avenue from Thursday, slipped to firth in the table with two games remaining.
Sherburn Bears reached the semi-finals of the Pennine Supplementary Cup after an 18-10 victory at home to East Leeds in the quarter-finals.
In division seven, Selby Warriors 'A' were beaten 44-12 at Odsal Sedbergh 'A'.
