New Earswick All Blacks have the chance to make up ground on the top two in the Pennine League premier division - but they might have to overcome sore heads to do so.
Leaders Sharlston and second-placed Drighlington are both in National Cup action, and All Blacks - knocked out in the first round - can draw level with Drig with a win at Queensbury.
But squadman Steve Bomber' Harris, who is also kitman at York City Knights, is getting married 24 hours earlier and many in the All Blacks line-up will be enjoying themselves at the wedding.
Coach Chris Judge explained: "We've got no injury worries, apart from myself, but there might be a few people nursing hangovers on Saturday morning."
Judge - who is still a few weeks away from returning from his broken ankle - is probably wishing for more bad weather so that the game is postponed, like last week's against Clayton.
But he said: "We're getting ready for it as normal. It's another big game for us. Queensbury, like Clayton, are just below us and are up there challenging so we will have to do well to get the result."
York Groves will have to overcome a tough challenge at Woodhouse Warriors if they are to maintain their promotion push in division five.
The Warriors lie in mid-table but have been in decent form of late, and Groves have to get over the handicap of two weeks' weather-enforced inactivity, as well as the loss of key men scrum-half Dean Kilbride and forward Rob Latham.
Latham will be giving his support from the sidelines but cannot risk injury as he flies out to Afghanistan the following week on a six-month tour of duty with the Army.
Groves coach Simon Moat remains upbeat despite the enforced changes. He said: "Woodhouse are a fairly good team on their own park. They generally try to intimidate their opponents and draw the opposition into a physical arm wrestle, but we will stick to playing rugby as man for man we are the better team. Again it's a case of keeping our composure and keep the work-rate up for the 80 minutes. If we do that I'm confident we'll pick up these crucial points."
Mid-table encounters in division three see York Acorn A' entertain Hoyland Vikings and Selby Warriors visit Lindley Swifts.
Heworth A' have no game in Yorkshire League division three.
