New Earswick All Blacks have the perfect opportunity to bounce back to winning form as they entertain Siddal A' on Saturday.

All Blacks' Pennine League premier division title hopes took a whack last week as they lost to Queensbury but Siddal, bottom of the pile without a win, should prove a lesser challenge.

It's the opposite for off-form Selby Warriors in division three as they host Rotherham Roosters, who are running away with the title. York Acorn A' have no game.

York Groves will be confident of claiming two more division five points as they host bottom-of-the-table Park Amateurs A'.

The Terriers have been in fine form but cannot take anything for granted against a team who have been given time off by league bosses to recruit and regroup after struggling to raise a team earlier in the season.

They played their first fixture since Christmas last Saturday and suffered only a narrow defeat.

Groves' joint-coach, Dean Kilbride, the key scrum-half, and hard-hitting prop Alex Malham are added to the side that won impressively at Woodhouse last week.

Joint-coach Simon Moat said: "Everybody at the club knows we cannot afford any slip-ups if we're to maintain a challenge to the top two.

"The emphasis this week has been to make sure we do the basics right, stay strong in defence, work hard to support, and most importantly keep our composure."

Heworth A' visit Normanton in Yorkshire League division three (2pm).
