NEW Earswick All Blacks' stamina will be tested to the full on Saturday as they face another tough test in Pennine League premier division.

All Blacks host Drighlington in their penultimate league game, just two weeks after losing to the West Yorkshire side in the President's Cup semi-finals and one week after losing to leaders Sharlston in the league.

Champions Drig and former champs Sharlston are the two teams fighting it out for the title, and it means All Blacks - who themselves had hopes of a league and cup double only a month ago - will have to pick themselves up for a third consecutive match against the best opposition in the league.

York Groves end their division five season at home to promoted Thornton.

The Terriers, lying fifth, will be looking to avenge an opening-day defeat and will again be using the game to try different combinations as they plan for next season, including switching captain Danny Buy from stand-off to hooker and Matt Withers from centre to second-row.
