HEWORTH ARLC will host the final of rugby league's Skanska Cup on Wednesday night.
The BARLA (British Amateur Rugby League Association) representative side, the holders, will meet the Army in a repeat of last year's final (kick off 7pm).
The game is the second part of a double-header, with BARLA Under-21s playing the Army Academy at 5pm. Admission for the night is £3 for adults, £1 for children.
BARLA are unbeaten in this year's competition having defeated the RAF and British Police 52-4 and 34-16 respectively. BARLA won last year's final 40-16 at Mount Pleasant, Batley.
This will be BARLA's last competitive game before they embark on a tour of South Africa on June 3 to celebrate that country's 25th anniversary of rugby league. The BARLA U21s also tour Kazan and Moscow in July.
BARLA chairman Spen Allison, of York, said: "It should be a great occasion at Heworth and shows the strength of the growth of the game within the Army and the Combined Services as a whole.
"It should be a great advert for the amateur game and great value for spectators. I hope we have a great response from the public."
