COACH Chris Judge has set his New Earswick All Blacks side a target of four wins from their remaining six Pennine League premier division games.
The York side, in a bit of a transitional phase, have fallen to fourth bottom, but Judge reckons his side are improving and can climb back up the rankings, starting on Saturday with a home game against St Joseph's, who are one place below them.
"We've only got six games left in the league which is a shame because I feel we're getting stronger," said Judge.
"I feel we will win the majority of those. Other teams seem to be losing players, some to professional teams, but our younger players are getting better and we've got guys coming back."
One of those guys is reigning Pennine League Player of the Year Ben Jones, who is back at the club after leaving Hunslet Hawks.
Judge added: "I'm looking for a good end to the season and I will be very disappointed if we don't win at least four of our six games. I feel we should be doing that. It's also boding well for next season, having these young lads getting better all the time."
All Blacks' A' team face their toughest task as they go for promotion from division seven as they visit runaway leaders Rochdale Mayfield B', who have ten wins from ten games.
Division three side Selby Warriors have no game.
