NEW Earswick All Blacks ARLC are hoping a more expansive game and the return of key men will see them end an unwanted hoodoo at Drighlington.

The York side have never won at the West Yorkshire club but they got back to winning ways last week, 14-6 at home to St Joseph's, and are aiming to put another dent in the Pennine League premier division champions' strained attempt to retain the title.

Drig are a point behind All Blacks in the table, albeit with four games in hand, but are some way off the top.

New Earswick boss Chris Judge said: "It's always tough going there. We've had some close games but we haven't won there and we are hoping to change that. We're hoping to be a bit more expansive with a few more things and pick up a bit from last week, which I'm sure we can do."

Former York City Knights winger Tom Dunmore, ex-Yorkshire amateur full-back Steve Perks, Sean Coulson, Nigel Wilson and Jack Sinclair are all available again. Judge added: "We've got a lot of good problems."
