Buoyant Pennine League amateur rugby league club Selby Warriors’ open age teams will begin pre-season training tonight at 7pm at their Foxhill Lane ground.
Training thereafter will be every Tuesday and Thursday.
The club, whose first team won Pennine League division four and the York & District Accident Cup, will be running two open age teams again this season and any player of any standard will be made welcome.
The club are looking for a company or a gardener to cut the grass and maintain the pitch. Interested parties can phone 01977 663187 or 07800 585508.
