SELBY RUFC climbed to fifth in Yorkshire One with a 55-15 win at home to Keighley.

Keighley took the lead with a try by full-back Adam Horsfall, but Selby hit back to lead at half-time.
A try from hooker Sam Cruise on 20 minutes levelled the scores and Selby went ahead five minutes later after an excellent break by returning flanker Jacob Robinson put centre Teihana Brown in for a try converted by full-back Josh Cruise.
The sides exchanged penalties by Keighley’s Alex Brown and Cruise made it 15-8 to the Sandhill Lane hosts after 31 minutes. Winger Ben Lunt crossed for Selby on 39 minutes and Cruise converted for a 14-point interval lead.
Selby dominated much of the second half, with Brown bagging his 13th of the season after 49 minutes, again converted by Cruise.
Winger Alex Hare crossed in the 63rd minute for his 11th try in 11 appearances. Cruise converted.
Fly-half Dan Porter got in on the act on 71 minutes for his 16th try in 16 games and Cruise goaled.
Second row Thomas Cobley’s first try for Selby came on 75 minutes and Robinson rounded off the try-fest with a minute remaining, with Cruise goaling from the touchline.
Keighley battled to the end and got a consolation try in added-on time through Leigh Sugden. Alex Brown converted.
Meanwhile, York remain fourth in the table despite a second successive narrow defeat.
Having lost 25-23 at Dinnington in their first game of 2014, York were edged out 16-13 at Clifton Park by North Ribblesdale.
