REJUVENATED Malton & Norton chalked up an impressive 37-8 victory at Huddersfield YMCA in Yorkshire One.
Malt took an early lead after a quick tap penalty by scrum-half Edmund Pang was passed on to wing Ryan Lonsdale, who bulldozed his way over for Malton's first score.
Two minutes later Lonsdale returned a kick and centre Simon Badgery scored in the corner.
YMCA hit back with a penalty and they added a try on the half hour.
David Webster kicked a penalty for Malt to make it 13-8 at the interval.
Winger Liam Cowton crossed in the corner to extend the lead shortly after the restart and lock John Dobson then burst through 40 metres out and showed a great turn of pace to cross between the posts. Webster added the extras to give Malton breathing space.
A 38th minute push-over try from number eight Richard Webster extended the lead and, deep into injury time, Dobson raced over for his second try and Webster converted.
Selby were beaten 14-12 away to league leaders Sandal.
