FORWARD Alex Robertshaw was a double prize winner at Nestlé Rowntree RUFC’s annual dinner and awards night.
The winger turned flanker collected the most improved player accolade and the new Peter Cregan Player of the Year trophy, which the club commissioned in honour of their long-serving president who died this year.
Peter’s son, Mark, a former player at the club, presented the awards.
Scrum-half Jack Daniels won the runner-up Player of the Year trophy.
Club chairman James Baldwin was the Lloyd Owen Clubman of the Year while top scorer Tom Atkinson took the Young Player of the Year award.
In his first season, veteran Simon Moat won the Simon Whitter Memorial Trophy for training.
