And the former Archbishop Holgate’s school pupil showed the Brazilian fighter that he was more than capable with some impressive hands.

Burns shared videos from Everton training this week, showing his sparring session with Godfrey, in which he is seen holding mitts for the 25-year-old centre back.
He was impressed with what he saw from the former York City defender, captioning the clips “My guy @BenGodfrey have some hands”.

Godfrey responded, saying: “Enjoyed it bro. Good to meet you.”
It’s been a difficult start of the season for Godfrey at struggling Everton, who find themselves in 18th position ahead of this weekend’s fixtures.
Sean Dyche’s side are yet to taste victory so far this campaign, with Godfrey himself having played just a single minute of Premier League football after falling behind James Tarkowski, and more recently Jarrad Branthwaite, in the pecking order.
