YORK City or Chester will host Sky Bet League One side and former Emirates FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic in the second round.
Should York defeat Chester in the FA Cup first round replay on Tuesday, November 14 (7.45pm), then City will host Wigan in the second round at the LNER Community Stadium.
Wigan defeated Exeter City 2-0 on Saturday after goals from Thelo Aasgaard and Steven Sessegnon, whilst Shaun Maloney's side currently find themselves in 19th place in League One.
York already defeated Needham Market in the fourth qualifying round in a replay after a goalless draw, before winning the replay by a 1-0 scoreline.
City then made the trip to Chester on Saturday for the first round, but were unable to find the breakthrough after another goalless draw meant a replay will be played.
It will be the first time since 1999 that the two sides have met, with a brace from Wigan's Stuart Barlow gifting the Latics a 2-1 victory, after City netted a consolation goal from Rodney Rowe.
Wigan are also former victors of the FA Cup, having lifted the 2013 trophy after a 1-0 victory over Manchester City.
The fixture will be played on the weekend commencing of December 1.
