MAZIAR KOUHYAR has returned to York City following the completion of his loan spell at Hereford.
The York winger joined Vanarama National League North outfit Hereford last month on an initial one-month loan deal, having made 18 appearances in the first-half of the season with City.
Kouhyar made five appearances in most recent spell with Hereford, witnessing just one victory as the Bulls comfortably defeated Blyth Spartans 5-2.
Manager Neal Ardley confirmed that Kouhyar's loan spell was to help the 26-year-old to regain full fitness, with Hereford bringing back their former winger to the football club.
Kouhyar had played for the Bulls in the 2021/22 season after a stint away from football, having began his career in the academy of Walsall, before making the permanent switch to York in 2022.
The Afghan international helped City to gain promotion back into the Vanarama National League in 2022, scoring in the 2-0 victory against Boston United in the play-off final.
Kouhyar could feature for the Minstermen in their trip to Barnet tomorrow afternoon (3pm).
