YORK City have confirmed that staff members David Stockdale and Matthew Lever have left their roles with immediate effect.
The two members of York's recruitment team have both departed the football club after short spells in their roles, with manager Adam Hinshelwood beginning to look ahead to the future.
Hinshelwood confirmed that a rebuild was needed on and off-of-the-field in the Summer, which is begging to take shape with City parting ways with their current recruitment team.
Stockdale was announced as York's first signing of the 2023/24 season in a dual Head of Recruitment and player role, but the goalkeeper has only managed four appearances all season.
Hinshelwood previously confirmed that Stockdale had not trained under him, solely focusing on his recruitment role.
The 38-year-old had initially began his career with the football club in 2003, making 24 first-team appearances over a three year spell.
Stockdale went on to play for the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion, Sheffield Wednesday, Birmingham City and Fulham in the Premier League.
The goalkeeper now leaves his role as Head of Recruitment with the club looking to appoint a replacement.
Stockdale reacted to the news on social media, saying: "Well…. Anyone need a GK….."
Also departing the club is Lever, who held the role as Head of Recruitment Analyst.
Lever joined City in November under former manager Neal Ardley, having previously worked as a senior scout by Sky Bet Championship side Blackburn Rovers, and also held the position of Talent Identification Scout for Sheffield Wednesday.
BBC Radio York have also confirmed that General Manager Darren Kelly has departed City.
Kelly, who made 36 appearances for the Minstermen from 2007 to 2009, was appointed for a spell as General Manager in late August.
The 44-year-old was previously a Sporting Director with Hartlepool United when they were in Sky Bet League Two, but departed the role by mutual consent before making the switch to York.
