FEMI Ilesanmi has jumped to the top of The Press Player of the Year standings and is also in pole position to bag back-to-back Player of the Month prizes.
The rampaging left-back was our man of the match during Tuesday night's disappointing 3-1 FA Cup replay defeat at AFC Wimbledon, which earned him three points towards the standings in both competitions.
He also earned a further two points towards the contests as our second-highest rated performer during last weekend's 1-0 home defeat to Oxford.
His Player of the Month prospects, meanwhile, were given a further boost after he received the two bonus points on offer for polling the most man-of-the-match votes from visitors to The Press website and followers of the @daveflettpress Twitter account.
The other Press points from the Wimbledon game were awarded to Lewis Montrose (two) and Wes Fletcher (one), as our second and third-highest rated players respectively.
Against Oxford, the efforts of The Press man-of-the-match Stephane Zubar (three) and Alex Cisak (one) were also recognised with points.
Zubar went on to received the extra reward for topping our online poll.
To be in with a chance of presenting the November Player of the Month with his prize - a framed photograph - at Bootham Crescent, please vote for your man of the match from today’s game at Hartlepool.
