YORK City Knights are up and running in the Championship after a 34-12 home victory over Swinton Lions.
The win ended an eighth-month wait for the Huntington Stadium outfit, whose last league win came at the Lions' expense on June 10 last year.
Beaten at Whitehaven in their opening game last weekend, the Knights toppled Swinton with tries from Jack Briscoe (2), James Ford, Tom Lineham (2) and Joe Arundel.
Simon Brown kicked five goals.
