YORK City Knights will have to topple a second Championship side if they are to reach the fourth round of the Tetley's Challenge Cup after they were drawn away to Swinton Lions in today's draw.
The Knights overcame Whitehaven in the third round on Sunday but have missed out on a money-spinning tie against Super League big-guns, instead being paired with the nomadic Greater Manchester outfit having been last out of the hat.
Gary Thornton's men also therefore missed out on a home tie, but they may still fancy their chances as they have won all three of their games so far this term and ended their long losing run on the road when winning at title favourites Hunslet to go top of Championship One, while Swinton have lost all four of their league games so far.
The Lions, however, hammered Championship side Gateshead 66-6 in round three on Sunday.
There were several eye-catching all-Super League ties in today's draw - Leeds go to Wakefield, Huddersfield host St Helens, Hull KR face Warrington, Hull entertain big-spending Salford and London go over the Channel to Catalans. Holders Wigan were drawn away to Dewsbury.
Challenge Cup fourth-round draw: Huddersfield v St Helens, Dewsbury v Wigan, Wakefield v Leeds, Rochdale v Leigh, Batley v Castleford, Doncaster v Hemel Stags, Keighley v Barrow, Featherstone v North Wales, Hull Kingston Rovers v Warrington, Hull v Salford, Bradford v Oldham, Hunslet v Workington, Catalans v London Broncos, Halifax v Widnes, Sheffield v London Skolars, Swinton v York. Ties to be played over the weekend of April 5-6.
