YORK Knights have learned the date for their Betfred Challenge Cup Fifth Round tie at home to fellow second-tier outfit Newcastle Thunder.
The Knights will welcome the Betfred Championship strugglers to the LNER Community Stadium on Friday, April 21, with kick-off set for 7:30pm.
York progressed to the competition's Fifth Round after a thriling 24-22 victory over high-flying Sheffield Eagles in front of the BBC cameras on Sunday lunchtime.

Veteran second-rower Danny Kirmond fired the Knights into an early lead before controversially being sent off by referee James Vella with half an hour played, with Conor Fitzsimmons and young winger AJ Towse also crossing the whitewash as the 12-man Knights superbly held on to their advantage.
That result followed a convincing 52-12 triumph over NCL outfit West Bowling in the Third Round, also in front of their home fans.
Newcastle's path to this stage has seen them twice progress past community club opposition, following a 16-58 victory over Stanningley, before they overcame Rochdale Mayfield 12-22.
General admission tickets for the tie are priced at £10 for Adults, £7 for Concessions and free for Under 16s, and will go on sale in due course.
Fans will be seated in the LNER Azuma East Stand, with visiting supporters directed to Block EH.
