JOE Brown's stunning team try against Batley Bulldogs on Monday has been nominated for the RFL's Impact Performance Try of the Round.
Described by commentators as one of the best tries seen on ViaPlay Sports for a long time, the score saw the Knights turn the game on its head to lead against their play-off rivals at the interval after a poor opening 20 minutes, a late drop goal from Liam Harris then seeing them to a crucial 15-14 triumph.
Having been found by half-back partner Jesse Dee, Harris saw his early kick bounce favourably to be picked up by Myles Harrison on the right wing.
The former Heworth youngster then somehow offloaded to the supporting Brown as he fell to the floor in a tackle, the full-back marking his return from an ankle injury by diving over into the corner.
