HULL FC have recalled Charlie Severs from his loan at York Knights ahead of their trip to Warrington Wolves tomorrow evening.
The Black and Whites are without 14 players for their visit to the Halliwell Jones Stadium due to injury and suspension, including trio Herman Ese'ese, Franklin Pele and Ligi Sao.
Danny Houghton (HIA), Joe Cator (hamstring), Cam Scott (calf), Liam Tindall (thumb), Carlos Tuimavave (calf) and Brad Fash (ankle) all remain sidelined through injury, alongside long-term absentees Jake Trueman, Mitieli Vulikijapani, Kye Armstrong and Cobie Wainhouse.
Severs could make his third Betfred Super League appearance as they look to bounce back from last week's derby defeat to Hull KR, which saw them nilled in front of their home fans for consecutive seasons.
The former Heworth back-rower joined the Knights on loan at the beginning of this month, but is yet to make an appearance.
Named as the 18th man in their 40-4 defeat to Wakefield Trinity in their final AB Sundecks 1895 Cup group stage match, an agreement with his parent club saw him left out of the squad for their Betfred Challenge Cup Third Round tie at Dewsbury Rams.
Hull FC preliminary squad: Hoy, Sutcliffe, McIntosh, F.Brown, Okunbor, Lane, Ashworth, Smith, J.Brown, Gardiner, Litten, Staveley, Barron, Martin, Balmforth, Severs, Laidlaw, Walker, Harman, Hodgson, Bursell.
