UKUMA TA’AI is in line to make his York Knights return as Mark Applegarth’s side visit Bradford Bulls on Sunday (3pm).

Both the Knights and York Valkyrie have named their preliminary squads for this weekend’s round of fixtures, with Lindsay Anfield’s side hosting Wigan Warriors at the LNER Community Stadium on Sunday (12pm).

Applegarth has named two changes to his Knights squad that defeated Doncaster 27-0 last weekend, with Will Dagger and Liam Harris both absent through hamstring problems.

Prop Ukuma Ta’ai makes his return from a hamstring injury, with young half-back Jack Potter also back in the York preliminary squad.

Connor Bailey also has the opportunity to make his 100th career appearance this weekend.

Valkyrie Director of Rugby Anfield has named three changes to her squad, which includes a new face.

Lisa Parker has the opportunity to debut for York after joining on dual registration from Sheffield Eagles.

Lacey Owen, back from a knee injury, Carrie Roberts, returning after a stint away with work commitments and Parker replace Rhiannon Marshall (knee), Alex Stimpson (knee) and Remi Wilton (hamstring/wrist). Izzy Brennan also remains unavailable through injury.
