ATA Hingano and Savannah Andrade were voted as the York Knights and York Valkyrie Players of the Year at York RLFC’s End of Season Awards last night.

Half-back Hingano took home the Graham Steadman award after an impressive season that has seen him repeatedly open up defences with his creativity, whilst second-row Andrade, an ever-present in the second row as the Valkyrie became the first team to defend the Betfred Women’s Super League title, earned the Julie Cronin award.

Those though were not the only accolades for the pair, who also scooped their sides’ Players’ Player of the Year and their Back or Forward of the Year.
