YORK City Knights’ reserves match away to Dewsbury Rams tomorrow night has been postponed.
The game was the first match of the new reserve league season.
It was called off due to potential problems with Dewbsury's pitch given the recent heavy rainfall, and also because of the Knights' issues with player availability.
The Knights' first team have two games over the Easter weekend and so could well call players up from the reserves squad. The reserves also normally bring in players from the local amateur game but those clubs also have several matches outstanding.
The reserves' next match is scheduled for April 22, and they hope to rearrange this Dewsbury fixture for a date before then.
